The ONE QUESTION Pattern

You had four good questions about a long document and you asked them together, numbered, like a sensible person. Three answers came back as paragraphs. The fourth, the one that was going to decide things, came back as a sentence. The shape of your question becomes the shape of the answer, and a list of four is a request for four equal paragraphs whichever one deserved the page. 17 prompts for asking a document one question at a time: the deciding question first, one answer per pass with the line it rests on, a NOTED line for what you did not ask, and a ledger that shows which answers were quietly leaning on each other.
